Ingredients:
· 250 gr flour
· 1 tablespoon baking powder
· 1 teaspoon salt
· 1 teaspoon black pepper
· 140 gr cream cheese
· 50 gr cold butter, cut into small cubes
· 120 ml milk
· a little bit of oil (or melted butter) to brush on top
· optional: sesame seeds (or any kind of seeds)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180 Celsius.
2. Line a baking pan with parchment paper.
3. In a large bowl, mix together flour, baking powder and condiments.
4. Add the cold butter and cream cheese to the dry mixture and mix with the help of a fork just until combined.
5. Add the milk. Continue kneading until the dough comes together.
6. Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and roll it about 1-1.5 cm thick.
7. Use a round cookie cutter to cut the dough.
8. Transfer the biscuits onto the prepared pan.
9. Brush them with a little oil/melted butter. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
10. Bake biscuits for 20-25 minutes, or until lightly golden.
P.S. You can serve them with sweet or salty toppings. Your choice.
