Pasta Bolognese Casserole

Ingredients:

400 gr pasta of your choice

2 small onions, chopped

2 tablespoon sunflower oil + a little more for greasing

500 gr minced meat (pork and beef)

500 ml tomato sauce

Salt and pepper to taste

1 teaspoon thyme

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon oregano

Parmesan cheese

Instructions:

1. Cook pasta according to instructions on the package. Drain and leave it aside.

2. In a saucepan, add oil and onions. Cook for 5-7 minutes until translucent.

3. Add the minced meat and stir gently to break it apart. Cook until golden brown.

4. Add the tomato sauce and spices. Mix well until combined.

5. Cook for another 5-10 minutes.

6. Meanwhile, preheat the oven at 180 C.

7. Grease a baking dish with a little oil or butter.

8. Pour the meat-tomato mixture over the pasta and mix to combine.

9. Pour the mixture into the prepared dish.

10. On top, grate as much parmesan cheese as you want.

11. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown.

12. Serve warm.
