Ingredients:
700-800 gr beef, diced in bigger chunks
5 large potatoes
1 tablespoon paprika
Salt, pepper to taste
2 tablespoons dried dill
200-250 gr tomato sauce
For the marinade:
Salt, pepper to taste
1 tablespoon paprika
1 tablespoon marjoram
3 cloves of garlic
150 ml brandy
50 ml water
Instructions:
1. In a bowl mix together salt, pepper, paprika, marjoram, sliced garlic cloves, water and brandy.
2. Marinate the meat in this mixture overnight. Keep it in the fridge.
3. Preheat the oven at 180 C.
4. Grase a baking dish with oil.
5. Peel and cut the potatoes into cubes same as the meat. Season with salt, pepper, paprika and dill.
6. Add the potatoes, the meat (the marinade too) and the tomato sauce into the pan. Mix until everything is covered in tomato sauce.
7. Cover the tray with tin foil and bake for an hour over medium heat.
8. Then remove the foil and cook for another 30-40 minutes, until the potatoes are golden.
9. Serve hot.
