Writer's picture: Cristina TudoseCristina Tudose

You need:

250-300 gr powdered milk

100 gr butter

120 ml water

5-6 tablespoons coconut

150 gr sugar

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

100-150 gr cranberries

a pinch of salt

Instructions:

1. Boil the water with the salt and the sugar until a syrup is formed.

2. After boiling, keep it on the heat for another 10 minutes.

3. Add the vanilla and butter and let it melt. Mix until combined.

4. Mix the powdered milk with the coconut and cranberries. If you want a softer chocolate add 250 gr powdered milk, if not, add 300 gr.

5. Turn off the heat and gradually pour the dry mixture stirring with a whisk (at first), then with a wooden spoon, until everything is well incorporated.

6. Pour the mixture into a 20x20 (15x26) cm pan lined with butter and parchment paper. Press it down with your hands.

7. Sprinkle a little more coconut on top for decoration.

8. Leave to cool completely for a few hours in a cool place, but not in the refrigerator.

9. Cut into the desired shapes. This time I chose bite size.
