Owl muffins

Ingredients:

3 eggs

300 gr sugar

300 gr grated pumpkin (or apples)

2 teaspoons cinnamon

250 gr flour

10 gr baking powder

Optional: 100 gr walnuts, chopped

200 gr dark chocolate

100 ml heavy whipping cream, warm

Oreos

M&m’s or Skittles

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven at 180 C.

2. Line a muffin tin with paper muffin cases.

3. In a large bowl, mix eggs and sugar until creamy.

4. Add grated pumpkin and cinnamon. Mix to combine.

5. Gradually, add flour and baking powder. Mix just until incorporated.

6. Fold in walnuts with a spatula.

7. Spoon the mixture into the prepared muffin cases.

8. Bake for 30-40 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.

9. Let cool completely before glazing.

10. Melt the chocolate into the microwave in 30 seconds blasts. Stir between each blast.

11. Add heavy whipping cream and mix to incorporate.

12. Cut the muffin tops, if necessary. Mine came out quite flat.

13. Dip each muffin into the chocolate glaze, then place on a plate.

14. Place 2 oreo halves (with filling) side by side in the middle of the muffins.

15. Spread a little chocolate on your candies to stick onto the cookies.

16. Press another candy into the chocolate glaze, perpendicular to the other candies and centered, just below the cookies.

17. Scrape the chocolate glaze with the tip of a knife to create a feathery look.

P.S: Best eaten fresh!
