Fig jam bread

Ingredients:

330 gr flour

100 gr sugar

10-15 gr baking powder

1/2 tablespoon baking soda

A pinch of salt

75 ml sunflower oil + a little more for greasing the pan

330 ml milk

2 tablespoons vanilla extract

400 gr fig jam

1 teaspoon vinegar


Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 180 C.

2. Grease a 23x13 cm loaf pan with a little oil.

3. In a medium bowl, combine all the dry ingredients.

4. In a large bowl, combine all the wet ingredients.

5. Add the dry to the wet and mix just until incorporated.

6. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking loaf pan.

7. Bake for 60-65 minutes. Cover with tin foil if necessary after 30-40 minutes.

8. Let cool for 15-20 minutes before removing from the pan.


P.S. You can use another type of jam if you don’t like figs.
