Chocolate apple muffins

Ingredients:

125 gr flour

60 gr cocoa powder

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 small apples, chopped in small cubes

150 gr sugar

110 gr butter

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 egg

70 ml milk

100 gr walnuts, chopped

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven at 180 C.

2. Line a muffin pan with muffin cases. If you don’t have a muffin tin use silicone molds or one-use paper cases, placed on a baking tray.

3. In a bowl, mix all dry ingredients.

4. In a separate bowl, mix butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

5. Add egg and vanilla extract. Mix to incorporate on low speed.

6. Add milk and flour mixture, alternating dry-wet-dry.

7. Add apples and walnuts and fold in gently with a spatula.

8. Spoon the mixture into the prepared pan/cases.

9. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
