Bread pudding with a twist

Ingredients:

· 600 gr stale donuts

· 3 eggs

· 250 ml milk

· 300 gr buttermilk

· 100 gr sugar or honey

· 1/2 teaspoon salt

· 1 tablespoon instant coffee

· 1 teaspoon cinnamon

For the sauce:

· 100 gr chocolate

· 150 ml heavy whipping cream, room temperature

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 180 C.

2. Grease a 22x33 cm baking dish with a little butter.

3. Cut the donuts into smaller pieces.

4. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, buttermilk, sugar, salt, coffee and cinnamon.

5. Place donuts into the prepared dish. Pour the egg mixture over them.

6. Let them sit for 5-10 minutes to moisten.

7. Cover the dish with tin foil and bake for about 40-50 minutes.

8. Meanwhile, melt chocolate into the microwave in 30 seconds blasts. Stir between the blasts.

9. Add heavy whipping cream. Stir until smooth.

10. Remove the bread pudding from the oven and let cool for 10-15 minutes.

11. Serve warm with chocolate sauce.
