Ingredients:
250 gr all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
4 large bananas, mashed
120 gr butter, melted
150 gr light brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs, room temperature
80 gr chocolate chips
80 gr walnuts, crushed Instructions: 1. Preheat the oven to 180 C.
2. Grease a 23x13 cm loaf pan with butter or oil.
3. In a bowl, mix flour, salt, baking soda and cinnamon.
4. In another bowl, add melted butter, vanilla, mashed banana and sugar. Mix until well combined.
5. Add the eggs, one at a time. Mix well after each addition.
6. Gently, add the flour mixture into the wet mixture. Mix just until combined. Don’t over-mix.
7. Fold in chocolate chips and walnuts with a spatula.
8. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
9. Bake for about an hour, until a toothpick comes out clean. After 30-35 minutes, cover with tin foil, if necessary, to prevent excess browning.
10. Let the banana bread cool in the pan for 15 minutes until removing. 11. Store at room temperature. It lasts up to 4-5 days.
